Amerson River Park
Amerson River Park reopened in 2015 after $5.5 million in improvements that included new pavilions, trails, canoe launches and a river overlook. GEC provided geotechnical engineering consultation for the design of park features and construction quality assurance services during the renovation.
GEC is also involved in the design phase of the portion of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail that will connect Amerson River Park with the downtown section of the trail.
