The new Miller gym, located in Macon, Georgia, is a 22,500-square-foot building, with bleachers located on both sides of the basketball court.  There are six basketball goals: Two for full court games and four for practice.  The new facility has a classroom in the back that is upgraded with the newest technology, including SMART board and wireless access throughout.  It also has a full-size weight room that is equipped with weight-lifting equipment for students.  The gym features a new concession stand as well as new parking that will provide additional parking spots for school events. GEC performed a Subsurface Exploration and Geotechnical Engineering Evaluation at the site to obtain data to evaluate the subsurface conditions in order to make an assessment of site conditions pertaining to site preparation, earthwork procedures, foundation bearing pressures, and floor slab support.  The new gymnasium was constructed in 2013.
